Biography
Lauren Weil completed her PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in cell and molecular biology. Simultaneously she earned a MPH at the University of Texas Health Science Center in epidemiology. Upon completing her education she has served as an epidemiologist at both the state and local level. Notable outbreaks she has worked on include the Ebola outbreak in Dallas, TX, and a Hepatitis A health care-associated outbreak involving partners at the local, state, and federal level.
